Wire Rope Hoist NOVA – Bulkhead Dam – 1x15t

A specially developed crane system with a curved track was implemented for maintenance work on a water barrage – a rare but indispensable solution for infrastructure projects where crane runways in particular cannot be implemented due to structural or topographical conditions.

The crane is used in particular to lift and position closure segments, which are necessary for controlling the flow of water and accessing technical equipment. The design ensures smooth movement along the curve as well as precise control in heavy-duty applications.

Designed for outdoor use and hydrotechnical conditions, the system features a corrosion-resistant surface and is tailored for high loads and humid environments. The combination of NOVA1 hoisting technology and modular CraneKit solution ensures durable performance, safety, and efficiency in maintenance and water regulation.
