Conventional chain hoists quickly reach their limits, as dust clogs the chains and makes them unusable within a short time. To ensure smooth operation, a reliable, clean and low-maintenance lifting solution is essential.

The belt hoist ATHLO belt reliably lifts and holds big bags filled with plastic granulate until they are completely emptied. Its belt-based lifting mechanism operates without lubrication, eliminating the main cause of contamination and downtime typically found with chain hoists in such environments. The belt hoist runs quietly, cleanly and consistently – even under the demanding conditions of granulate production.

Since the beginning of the year 2025, ATHLO belt has been in operation and has proven highly reliable. Based on these positive results, the operator now plans to gradually replace all chain hoists with belt hoists, increasing efficiency, extending service life, and significantly improving operational safety.
