Granada Material Handling has just completed the installation and commissioning of a 5t (2.5t + 2.5t electric wire rope hoists NOVA) single girder under running crane and gantry for a Rack and Screw supplier.

The system is a complete replacement for a crane and gantry dating from the 1950’s. Having discussed the ongoing costs of keeping an old crane installation running the customer decided to invest in new equipment. The system comes complete with SWF NovaMaster Tandem controls to provide continuous monitoring of the hoists units, radio remote control and standard Micromove Invertors.

Granada located in Rochdale looks after the whole site, providing a 24/7 callout facility including routine maintenance visits.
